synopsis:

"The more we recall, the more we inscribe" The word "inscribed" inspired me to imagine the action of finely chopping, and I attempted to subdivide the memory in time and space by repeating and multiplying the still photos. With each inscription, the memory will be subtly reshaped and beautified, but eventually it will be lost, leaving only a single sensation.

​「記憶は思い出せば思い出すほど刻まれる」という文章をインターネットで目にした。「刻まれる」という言葉からより細かく切るアクションをイメージし、思い出の写真を反復・増幅させ続けることで記憶を細分化することを試みた実験的映画。記憶は、刻まれるたびに微妙に形を変え美化され、やがてひとつの感覚だけを残して失せてしまった。
